‘Bitter, bitter people’: Pauline Hanson hits back at SMH article accusations

Senator Pauline Hanson has responded to an article by Peter Hartcher in The Sydney Morning Herald that described her as inciting a “populist uprising” and labelled her a “racist”.

“They’re in denial, actually, all they can do is throw the barbs and say I’m a racist,” Ms Hanson said.

“They’re not picking up my message; they’re bitter, bitter people.

“My aim, my focus is on the people out there, and I’ll keep working hard for them.”
