ABS reveals one in three Australians was born overseas, with the largest source from India
New data from the Bureau of Statistics reveals 32 per cent of Australians were born overseas.
That is up from 24 per cent two decades ago.
The data has found India has overtaken England as Australia’s biggest source of overseas-born migrants.
China, New Zealand, and the Philippines round out the top five countries.
