Fraudulent NDIS funding ‘undermines the integrity’ of the scheme

Shadow Health and Aged Care Minister Anne Ruston says there is “cause for concern” with large amounts of NDIS funding being used fraudulently.

Ms Ruston told Sky News Australia that it absolutely “undermines the integrity” of the entire scheme.

“There are many places that the government could go to make sure that both the integrity of the system is restored and Australians can have confidence that the NDIS is really delivering what I think Australians want it to.

“But at the same time, to give the confidence to Australians, particularly those who have family members or who live with disability, that the NDIS is going to be there for them into the future.”
