Israel and Lebanon announce ceasefire
The US has announced a ceasefire in Lebanon.
US President Donald Trump said the 10-day moratorium on conflict between Israel and Hezbollah would begin at 5pm EST (7am AEST).
Iran-backed Hezbollah has said it will abide by the ceasefire if Israel ceases its attacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also agreed to the ceasefire but said the Israeli military will not withdraw from its positions in southern Lebanon during that time. #ceasefire #iran #lebanon #middleeast #trump
