Iranian students stressed ahead of university semester in Australia

Iranian university students in Australia are facing financial hardship while also grieving lives lost during recent protests in their homeland.

‘Aida’, a postgraduate student from Iran in her late 20s, is feeling stressed rather than excited about returning to university.

Like many, Aida — whose name has been changed for safety reasons — is juggling academic studies with earning an income.
