‘Eternal shame’: Nationals condemned for rejecting hate speech bill

Environment and Water Minister Murray Watt claims the National Party not supporting the hate speech legislation will be their “eternal shame”.

“We acted this week by passing that legislation to limit the activities of hate groups who are inciting hatred and inciting violence,” Mr Watt told Sky News Australia.

“It’ll be to the National Party’s eternal shame that they did not support that legislation going through.”
