Aussie man receives hefty fine after steering car with knees to butter bagel
A motorist copped a hefty fine after he was caught by Queensland Police using his knees to steer his vehicle so he could butter a bagel on Monday, September 7.
Queensland Police released this footage of an officer approaching the 29-year-old P-plate driver after requesting he pull over in the Toowoomba suburb of Newtown, west of Brisbane, just before 4 pm.
The officer then tells the driver that his vehicle was also found to be unregistered. Queensland Police said the 29-year-old Glenvale man was issued with a traffic infringement notice for driving without due care and attention and driving an unregistered vehicle, resulting in a $1,104 fine and loss of three demerit points.
