World doesn’t need a ‘woke Pope’ as block of ice gets ‘extraordinary’ blessing

Institute of Public Affairs Research Fellow Mia Schlicht says the world doesn’t need a “woke Pope” after Pope Leo XIV blesses a block of ice in defence of global warming.

“I don’t think we need a woke Pope,” Ms Schlicht told Sky News host James Macpherson.

“I really hope that Pope Leo doesn’t make this his crusade.

“I hope this doesn’t become a key focus of his.”
