‘Voiceless’: Academic speaks out on the backlash she received for supporting Jewish Australians

Academic Dr Marcia Langton discusses the price she’s paid for supporting Jewish Australians and standing up against antisemitism.

“I’ve had people pull out of panels I was listed to speak at. International figures who’ve been informed that I’m a zio [Zionist],” she said.

“My car’s windows were smashed.

“They will not allow any debate of the issues. By labelling me as a zio, I’m therefore made voiceless in the debate.”
