Bob Bramley, a Tasmanian pilot who became the youngest person to circumnavigate Australia solo at age 16, has died in a plane crash over the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Territory. The 24-year-old commercial pilot had used his record-breaking teenage flight to raise awareness and funds for mental health through his mission called ‘Surviving Turbulence’.
