Young US kid shares experience of anti-immigrant harassment
A young football player in the United States received an outpouring of support after a video of him went viral.
Max was playing in a futsal competition when an opposing player told him he was an “illegal immigrant” and “Trump is going to get [him]”. In the video, Max emotionally shares his experience and says he doesn’t understand why it happened.
The video, posted by Max’s mother, has been viewed over a million times, with users calling out the behaviour and sharing messages of support for Max.
“Max, you are so smart and kind hearted and articulate and YOU matter in this country and in this world,” actor Eva Longoria commented.
