Young boy’s fight inspires Jeans for Genes Day | 7NEWS
Jeans for Genes Day returns this week to raise funds for treatments for children with genetic diseases. Eight-year-old Spencer, diagnosed at four with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, represents one in 20 children affected by genetic conditions. Since 1994, the campaign has raised over $65 million, funding medical breakthroughs in gene therapy, with clothing retailer Lowes matching all donations on Thursday, August 6.
