‘You made the choice’: TV host blasts entitled politicians amid parliamentary expense backlash
Sky News host Steve Price criticises politicians who have got it “pretty good,” amid the parliamentary expenses saga.
“If you put your hand up to be a federal politician … It means you’re going to spend some of your time every year in Canberra,” Mr Price said.
“You’re being paid, if you’re a backbencher, somewhere north of $280,000, you fly there business class, you spend your time in lounges of airports.
“Bad luck if you don’t see your family, you made the choice.”
