Gina Rinehart, Australia’s richest person, has suffered a significant legal blow after a blockbuster court battle.
A court ruled the family of former mining pioneer Peter Wright has the rights to royalties from her Hope Downs mine in WA’s Pilbara.
But it wasn’t all bad news for the billionaire mining magnate, as the judge dismissed claims to ownership shares of Hancock Propsecting from both Mr Wright’s descendants and two of Rinehart’s own children.
