‘Woke’ BBC under fire for reprimanding host over ‘pregnant women’ comment

Sky News host Danica De Giorgio says the BBC is now “policing” facial expressions as an impartiality breach.

Ms De Giorgio said BBC’s Presenter Martine Croxall was reading out a health warning about an impending heatwave, when she corrected the public broadcaster’s “woke” terminology for pregnancy.

“Apparently, the face she made, while correcting the script from pregnant people to pregnant women, breached the broadcaster’s rules about impartiality.

“Men can’t be women and no amount of censoring will ever change what is a very simple biological fact.”
