‘Who’s paying for it?’: Australians sick of ‘ridiculous’ number of people entering country
NSW Independent MLC Tania Mihuailuk discusses the “ridiculous” number of people entering Australia as the government struggles to hit housing targets.
“Every day Australians have really had a gutful of essentially paying more and more tax to accommodate people from overseas,” Ms Mihuailuk told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“Who’s paying for it? We’re paying for it.
“We’ve got a whole generation of young people, in particular, who don’t appreciate or understand that they are probably never going to own a home.
“1200 a day, that is a ridiculous amount of people coming into Australia.”
