Whoopi Goldberg faces fact-check uproar over voter ID comments on The View

Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus reacts to a recent claim made by Whoopi Goldberg on The View.

“Whoopi Goldberg, yet again on The View, they just make so much content for us, don’t they?” Ms Marcus said.

“She claims that no one wants voter ID laws, despite, well, pretty much every poll showing the majority of Americans do.

“One of the latest polls showed 83 per cent of all Americans want voter ID laws, and that includes more than 70 per cent of Democrats, so I don’t know who she’s speaking on behalf of.”
