White House renews war with media as CNN barred from Air Force One
The White House has renewed its dispute with several American news outlets.
The US President posted on Truth Social:
“Fake news should not be allowed in the White House. It has gone on far too long, at a tremendous cost to our country.”
CNN was not permitted to fly on Air Force One on Saturday.
The network was scheduled to serve as the pool representative for all American news organisations that take turns covering presidential events.
Last week, the Trump administration restricted access for CNN, MS Now, and Politico to the White House.
Although a judge temporarily restored their credentials on Friday, these organisations now appear to be facing additional limitations.
