‘What was it for?’: Outrage at both party’s for unnecessary government shutdown

Cygnal Principal and Pollster Alex Tarascio criticises both US parties for the government shutdown lasting the longest in history.

“I would be so frustrated as a Democrat this week,” Mr Tarascio told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“The shutdown did hurt both parties.

“I think that the bases of both parties are pretty upset, particularly the young people in each party that don’t know what this was all for.”
