‘We’ve often forgotten the reality of apocalyptic Islamism’: Tony Abbott

Former prime minister Tony Abbott says society “often forgets” the reality of apocalyptic Islamism.

​“What we absolutely need to do is remember that there is this strand of Islamism which regards every human being who doesn’t share it as a legitimate target for death,” Mr Abbott told News24 host Peta Credlin.

“That’s why current events in the Middle East are so concerning.”
