New footage has emerged of the latest ICE and Border protection clashes in the US.
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents interrogated a woman in a Walmart parking lot in Cicero, Illinois – a suburb of Chicago – on October 22.
In footage captured by Michael Kelly, a CBP agent can be seen walking up to a woman in the parking lot and immediately asking, “You from here? Where’s here? Were you born here? Were you born here, ma’am? What country were you born in?”
An undocumented immigrant and federal agent were shot as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers and US marshals attempted to arrest the immigrant in South Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 21, Trump administration officials said.
“The illegal alien was hit in the elbow and one law enforcement officer was shot in the hand by a ricochet bullet. Both are in the hospital,” McLaughlin said.
Several arrests were made as demonstrators gathered to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) presence in the Chicago neighbourhood of Little Village on Thursday, October 23.
Federal agents detained five people, including two high school students, according to local reports.
