‘We can no longer defend with rifles’: Trump says WH drone port will protect US capital
US President Donald Trump has released new details of his proposed drone port on the roof of the White House Ballroom.
The US President posted AI-generated images online showing drones and troops on top of the building.
He is calling for a lawsuit challenging the project to be dismissed.
Posting on Truth Social, he said:
“The DronePort at the White House Ballroom will be, perhaps, the most sophisticated anywhere in the world! It will safeguard our nation’s capital … long into the future,” Mr Trump wrote.
“With the advent of highly sophisticated and powerful modern-day weaponry, we can no longer defend Washington, D.C., with rifles and pistols alone. This ridiculous lawsuit must be dismissed immediately!”
