Bill Grayden, Western Australia’s longest-serving parliamentarian and World War II veteran, has been honoured with a state funeral at age 105. He served 43 years across state and federal parliament, notably advocating against nuclear testing at Maralinga and supporting the 1967 referendum to recognise Indigenous Australians, leaving behind 10 children, 36 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
