Wall Street plunges after chip makers fall ‘more than 10 per cent’
CommSec’s James Gruber says US markets fell after chip makers’ stocks plunged “more than 10 per cent”.
“The S&P 500 fell 4.4 per cent and the Nasdaq dropped 5.5 per cent,” Mr Gruber told News24.
“It is also down 12 per cent from its record high reached last month, and the main culprit was chip makers. They were down more than 10 per cent.”
