Vietnamese authorities detain Australian activist on terror charges
Vietnamese police have arrested three people, including an Australian, accusing them all of terrorism.
Human rights groups and the close family of Australian human rights activist Tran Hiep say he was abducted.
They’re calling it an act of transnational repression — whereby a government crosses international borders to actively silence its critics.
