Victorian Premier recounts his favourite North Melbourne memory
Victorian premier Ben Carroll has been a North Melbourne Kangaroos fan since he was a boy going along to Arden Street with his family for as long as he can remember.
Ben was born the year North won their historic VFL/AFL premiership in 1975 and counts the Kangas victory over Sydney in the league’s centenary year of 1996 as his favourite memory.
His worst memory would come two years later when Adelaide downed the star-studded Kangaroos who Ben still believes were the better team boasting the likes of Wayne Carey and Glenn Archer. #victoria #northmelbourne #bencarroll #kangaroos #afl
