US slaps Russia with new sanctions that will ‘impact’
Former US Navy rear admiral Mark Montgomery describes the “impact” of US sanctions on Russia as coming down to “two factors”.
“The first is the degree to which the United States enforces their implementation,” Mr Montgomery said.
“The second wildcard in this is how India and China respond to that.
“Ukraine is not fighting Russia; they’re fighting Russia, North Korea, Iran, and China.”
