US ‘never going to allow’ Strait of Hormuz to open if Iran can have access to nuclear weapons

Republican strategist Matt Klink claims the US is “never going to allow” the Strait of Hormuz to open if Iran can have access to a nuclear weapon.

“Iran needs to know that America is never going to allow the Straits to open if Iran can have access to a nuclear weapon,” Mr Klink told Sky News Australia.

“Right now, about 70 per cent of the American public doesn’t want Iran to have a nuclear weapon.”
