US markets see their ‘steepest declines since May’ following recent ‘thrashing’
CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski claims the US markets got a “thrashing” on Friday last week.
“You had the technology benchmark, the Nasdaq, down 3.6 per cent. The S&P 500 was down 2.7 per cent and the Dow Jones was down by 1.9 per cent,” he told Sky News Australia.
“So, they were the steepest declines since May that we’ve seen for US markets.”
