US demands answers from Russia on death of plague lab worker
The US is calling on Russia to provide more details about the death of a lab worker at a plague research centre in Siberia.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that the US Department of State sent diplomatic communications to Russia, warning that a failure to be transparent about the death would violate international health obligations.
US President Donald Trump has said there is no indication the plague is a Russian bio-weapon.
