The US is trying to revive its Gaza peace plan, holding rare face to face talks with Hamas officials ahead of a meeting with Israel today.
US Middle East Envoy, Jared Kushner, will meet with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who is under increasing pressure after rejecting the 15-point road map.
Netanyahu has insisted on a guarantee Hamas is “genuinely disarmed”.
