US antisemitism envoy criticises Anthony Albanese
US President Donald Trump’s antisemitism envoy has suggested Anthony Albanese had ‘neutered’ Australia’s envoy Jillian Segal.
The comments coincide with the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks, during which America’s antisemitism envoy, Yehuda Kaploun, claims warnings to Labor by special envoy Ms Segal ‘fell on deaf ears’.
Despite praising Anthony Albanese for accepting Ms Segal’s recommendations to combat antisemitism, Mr Kaploun believes governments must ’empower’ antisemitism envoys to be ‘effective’.
