‘Unique situation’: James Comey’s ‘outrageous’ indictment analysed

Former US court judge Joseph Cosgrove discusses the recent indictment of former FBI director James Comey.

“I’m sure his lawyers would wish that he did not make any statements; it does not help him … in his legal proceeding,” Mr Cosgrove told Sky News Australia.

“This is such a unique situation, and when we have the president of the United States making such outrageous statements, really and being the one who is clearly behind the impetus of the prosecution itself.”
