Ukraine and Russia have exchanged intensified strikes, with a major book market in Kyiv destroyed by fire and Ukrainian forces launching their largest drone assault on Russia since the war began. A warehouse belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries near Moscow was hit, though the company denies aiding Russia’s war effort. The conflict, now more than four years old, has seen Ukraine increasingly capable of launching hundreds of drones and cruise missiles in single operations deep inside Russian territory.
