UAE authorities say flydubai attack was terror attempt | ABC NEWS
UAE authorities say the co-pilot who allegedly attacked his colleague on an Israel-bound flydubai flight was attempting to carry out a terrorist attack.
Emirati Prosecutor-General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi is accusing the man of assaulting the other pilot with a crash axe and attempting to hijack the aircraft carrying 182 people.
US President Donald Trump has lauded passenger Yaniv Hayun for his role in preventing a disaster.
