Typhoon Kalmaegi crosses Vietnam coast as the Philippines begins clean-up
Vietnam is being pummelled by fierce winds and torrential rain as Typhoon Kalmaegi creeps across the country.
More than 260-thousand soldiers are on standby to assist in rescue efforts, while a number of airports have been forced to close.
Clean-up efforts are underway in the Philippines after the storm caused widespread destruction earlier this week, leaving more than 115 people dead.
