Typhoon Fung-wong displaces over a million people in the Philippines
Thousands of homes have been completely destroyed along Aurora’s coastline in the Philippines’ north-east as the death toll from Typhoon Fung-wong climbs to 25.
The Philippines government has extended the state of emergency to last a year following the latest storm which has displaced 1.4 million people and after last week’s Typhoon Kalmaegi rampaged through the country’s central islands.
