Two people are fighting for life after their Hope Island home was set on fire on the Gold Coast. Police say an arsonist arrived just before midnight, with huge flames later seen tearing through the property.
Two victims suffered severe burns and were rushed to a Brisbane hospital, while a third person escaped serious injury. The home is now a crime scene, with detectives set to examine the site later today.
