Two killed in Cressy train collision | 7NEWS

Two men have been killed after a Melbourne-bound freight train collided with their white ute at a railway crossing on Reddies Road in Cressy, west of Geelong. The vehicle was torn in two by the 1.5-kilometre-long loaded freight train at approximately 10:15am. The crossing had no boom gates or lights, only signage, and the vehicle reportedly came to a brief stop before entering the train line but failed to exit for unknown reasons.
