Two people in Tasmania have died after a tree fell at a rural property during severe weather conditions.
With wind gusts exceeding 100 km/h, the State Emergency Services received approximately 72 calls for assistance.
The Bureau of Meteorology reports that while the worst of the weather has passed, gusty winds are still anticipated today.
