TV host reflects as Royal Commission hears ‘harrowing testimony’ on rising antisemitism

Sky News host Sharri Markson reflects on watching the Royal Commission on Monday as it hears “harrowing testimony” on rising antisemitism and the Bondi terror attack.

“There was something profoundly moving about seeing a formal public inquiry give voice to experiences that have, for too long, been dismissed, minimised or ignored,” Ms Markson said.

“Most of the testimony was not shocking or new. It was familiar.

“It reflected what so many in our community have been living through: the sudden and painful transformation of daily life.”
