Trump wants to end daylight saving time
United States President Donald Trump says he wants to “get rid of daylight saving time stuff”.
At a rally in Michigan, Trump told the crowd that he would like to see a permanent time applied as opposed to the twice-annual changing of the clocks.
A bill before the US Senate, named the Sunshine Protection Act, would also see daylight lasting longer in the evening.
While en route to the rally, Trump also spoke to reporters about the ongoing war with Iran.
