President Donald Trump’s heated Oval Office clash with White House correspondent Andrew Feinberg has sparked fresh political controversy, as the US president also amplified separate claims involving Minnesota fraud allegations and Representative Ilhan Omar.
Feinberg, a reporter for The Independent, pushed back after Trump called him a “sick person” during a tense exchange at the White House on Tuesday. The confrontation gained further attention after Vice President JD Vance shared video of the moment online.
At the same time, Trump presented a $10,000 cheque to YouTuber Nick Shirley, whose 2025 video alleging fraud at Minnesota child-care centres helped drive the issue into national debate. Trump also said Rep. Ilhan Omar could face jail time and deportation as federal authorities examine questions tied to her immigration records.
