Trump rejects tech industry’s calls for AI slowdown
US President Donald Trump has brushed aside concerns raised by AI leaders – including Elon Musk, Dario Amodei and Sam Altman – about the pace of its development, branding them “very negative forces”.

As the AI alarm bells continue to grow louder, Australia’s government says it’s taking these calls from the tech industry for a slowdown seriously.
