Trump announces phase two of peace plan ‘begins right now’ as ceasefire is tested
United States President Donald Trump has announced on Truth Social that phase two of the Gaza peace plan “begins right now”.
Tensions on both sides remain high as Israel announced it will close the Rafah border crossing into Gaza, as Hamas has failed to release the bodies of all dead hostages.
US President Donald Trump called on Hamas to release the remaining bodies, and at the White House this morning made a strong demand that Hamas give up its weapons.
