Treasure hunters find lost Spanish gold and silver from shipwreck | ABC NEWS
A team of divers from a shipwreck salvage company have uncovered a haul of gold and silver coins that estimate is worth AUD$1.5 million.
It’s believed the treasure was being transported to Spain in 1715 after it was minted in its new world colonies when it was struck by a hurricane.
