This is the horrifying moment a tourist fell to her death a safety rope snapped on a high-altitude waterfall swing at an adventure park in China.
Footage shows the holidaymaker, wearing a black top and a safety helmet, seated on the scenic ride at Maliuyan Adventure Park in Huaying, Sichuan, as staff prepared the attraction.
The woman, who was seen holding a blue banner while seated on the ride, moved slowly as the swing began to depart.
Moments later, the ride paused near a barricade, with friends heard cheering in the background before it moved again.
Without warning, the harness attached to her body snapped from the mechanical cable, causing her to fall down the canyon on Sunday, May 3.
