Tim Walz’s ‘folksy’ perception gave him ‘free pass’ from fraud scrutiny during VP vetting
National Review Politics Reporter Audrey Fahlberg claims Tim Walz got a “free pass” in the mainstream news because of his “folksy” perception.
“Few campaign reporters gave him a really hard time trying to unearth scandals about him, looking into the fraud scandals,” Ms Fahlberg told Sky News contributor James Bolt.
“The number of times I read the word folksy to describe him in pieces, in mainstream news outlets, was alarming.
“He got pretty much a free pass.”
