Three people confirmed dead following Optus triple zero call outage


Three people have died after an Optus network upgrade failed on Thursday, blocking emergency service phone calls across the country.

At least 600 Optus customers in South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory were affected.

The Financial Review reports several triple-zero calls failed to connect, but normal calls were unaffected.
