Thousands gather at vigils across Australia in memory of Kumanjayi Little Baby | ABC NEWS
Thousands of people gathered at vigils around the country on Thursday night in memory of five-year-old Kumanjayi Little Baby, one week after she was found dead on the outskirts of Alice Springs. More than 2000 people turned up for the vigil in the Central Australian town, hearing a statement from the child’s mother saying she wanted her daughter to be remembered as a happy child who loved the colour pink.
